Edible flowers

Violas and Pansies have a lettuce like flavour~ the flower petals are perfect for salads as well as sweet and savoury baking.

Flowers are extra delicate, and are best eaten sooner rather than later, within the next 5 or so days. The packaging they’ve come in is 100% compostable, and your welcome to chuck it back in the crate and we will re-use them if we can.

In the garden we’ve interplanted Violas, Pansies and other flowers with pumpkins, squash and chives. Our wine barrels are planted with flowers and with the warmer weather all the insects are having parties surrounded by lots of food.
