Delfino coriander

This variety of coriander is a little milder than other broadleaf varieties, it has feathered foliage and its flavour reminds us a little of citrus and parsley.

Delfino

Delfino coriander is sometimes called confetti coriander because of it’s feathery foliage. It was bred by Bejo seeds and won an AAS selection in 2006 for its interesting flavour and robust productivity, and became cool in the restaurant scene in NYC about fifteen years ago. But as a variety it never quite made it into the mainstream.

Fortunately Delfino is an open pollinated variety, and its genetics are still widely available. We grow two varieties at the moment, one sourced from an Australian seed company, and the other from a Japanese supplier, and both hold up really well in the field and are delicious in the kitchen.
